How Matt Damon's 'Stillwater' explores 'ugly Americans' in the post-Trump era

"Stillwater" stars Matt Damon as a proud gun-owning oil worker from middle America who travels to a French port city to attempt to free his estranged daughter from prison for a murder she insists she didn't commit.

We spoke with Damon and the filmmakers about how the movie, now playing, explores the stereotype of "ugly Americans," throwing elbows on the world's stage, blind to other points of view.
