Jul. 29, 2021 President Biden will require all federal employees to get vaccinated or face regular COVID-19 testing President Biden announced federal employees will need to get vaccinated or face regular testing for the coronavirus. More than 2 million civilian workers, plus contractors at federal workplaces, will be affected. Biden's announcement follows Los Angeles saying this week that city workers would need to submit proof of vaccination or undergo weekly testing, and California state and healthcare employees will soon be required to show proof they've been vaccinated against COVID-19.
