A Note From Jenny Hollander, MC's Digital Director

What a month! Our editors have spent September bouncing between New York, London, Milan, and Paris for Fashion Month—and I, for one, can't stop thinking about the street style looks from Milan. (Take it from fashion editor Emma Childs, who's done a whole lot of walking this Fashion Month: These are the comfortable flats to invest in for fall.)

For when you emerge from luxuriating in fall's bag trends or trending colors: I'd recommend reading Ilana Kaplan's profile of Coco Jones (and speaking of luxuriating—have you seen those photos?). Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be spending the weekend reading Glossy, the most talked-about book of the moment.

Honest review: Why 'The Vaccine War' is not the story of India's scientists

In today's edition, we look at the physical and psychological impact that prolonged violence in Manipur's Imphal can have on locals, particularly students who have been subject to targeted attacks. Apart from that, we shed light on the harrowing details that a minor rape survivor in Ujjain shared with the Madhya Pradesh Police. Apart from that, we analyse how 'The Vaccine War' movie is actually based on opinion rather than fact.
