The U.S. upset Britain in the Olympic men's 4x100 swimming medley, giving Caeleb Dressel his fifth gold in Tokyo and extending an unbeaten streak in the event.

The Americans won easily with a world record of 3:26.78 on the frantic final day of the swimming competition, which also included individual gold medals from Caeleb Dressel and Bobby Finke of the United States.

Earlier, Emma McKeon became only the second woman to win seven medals at a single Olympics, as the Australian women's team won the 4x100 medley relay, edging out the U.S.
